Our bodies are collection of incredibly fine tuned organ systems that all are linked together with nerve tissue, muscles, skin and fascia. Chronic stress, sleep deprivation and poor diet can also contribute to back and neck pain, headaches, bowel issues and auto-immune disorders over time.
Our emotions and memories are held in the above body components and show up as pain and dysfunction if we are overloaded. It’s often a small movement that loads the spine, causing acute pain and muscle spams but the onset is cumulative over time.
A large component of my job involves working on your fight and flight muscles to restore alignment in your back and unwinding your triggers, those being physical and emotional ones.
It’s the small day to day disciplines that help maintain health and back mobility as well. Exercise, meditation, eating clean and getting regular spinal check ups is fundamental to your well being.
Until the next blog… Happy Spring!! :))
